The Project

INNODRY
The INNODRY project is an initiative aimed at introducing innovative drying techniques for agricultural products, focusing on sustainability, quality improvement, and enhancing the export potential of the Greek agri-food sector. Responding to modern demands for reducing environmental impact and preserving nutritional value, INNODRY aspires to offer new solutions to the challenges of exporting high-quality agricultural products.

The primary goal of the project is to develop expertise and implement advanced drying methods, such as freeze-drying and supercritical CO₂ extraction, which reduce energy requirements and ensure superior product shelf life and quality. Additionally, through producer training, pilot applications of new technologies, and commercial research for international markets, the project seeks to boost the competitiveness of Greek products.

INNODRY is not limited to technology; it also invests in disseminating its results, aiming to set benchmarks for Greece’s agri-food sector by providing sustainable and innovative solutions that address the challenges of the modern market.
